gday all

Guys,
Often I see members posting bad results, or threads claiming they are on down swings or they are loosing money. If this is you then there are things you need to do for us - so we can be assured your a winner, not a loser. If you are loosing money, if you are not placing in tournaments; take some time out and find out why. Examine your bot logs, post any suspicious plays in this forum under the relevant topic, even if you slightly disagree with a play, post it.
It has been some time since my last blog entry, a combination of coding new profiles (and updating them and coding out the annoying default) and running the rags to riches challenge which is just past %70 complete; that alone has been very exciting for me, I love seeing it motivate others, and not just with Omaha, the Holdem Challenge as well has really been satisfying to watch, especially considering Cosmo asked for my advice and assistance before setting up the challenge. Then I moved house, and had some real time drama's to deal with – alas I am here to blog again.
As you may or may not know, im looking at games i might be able to play to get SN or SNE next year at stars. (and hence manual play).
For months I have listened to constant complaints that there are not enough games to play using our profiles, simply put, this is BS. I have made a list which is listed below, and this is just for Fulltilt Poker, so I expect no more complaints after this blog :)
Daily
6 Player Omaha Hi PL Super Turbo ($6 + $0.50) (One a day)
9 Player Omaha Hi PL Super Turbo ($6 + $0.50) (One a day)
6 Player Omaha Hi PL Super Turbo ($14 + $1) (One a day)
9 Player Omaha Hi PL Super Turbo ($14 + $1) (One a day)
I have already posted about the importance of having a rakeback account, so I will not be re-visiting that area. However, I do think its important for all members to take advantage of every promotion offered to them, these are the perks we botters and poker players thrive off. For example, the iron man one a day freeroll (or any part of the iron man promotions), all you need to do is earn a few fulltilt points each day of the month and you gain entry to a $1000 freeroll, just for playing as you normally do... (This freeroll is Holdem tho, but I think you get the point I am
Do not be absolutely stupid and skip this step, you will be highly surprised at how effective Rakeback can be.
So you have chosen your bot, and you have selected the site (or sites) you will be playing at. Now its time to create your own account; if you already have an account for the site you wish to use skip down a paragraph or two otherwise keep reading.
Poker is a game of skill with a chance element brought about by the random shuffle and distribution of cards. Variance in poker gaming describes the effect of that chance element in the short-term. While variance in poker is in many ways the enemy of the skilled poker player, having an understanding of this and ensuring that you get the chips in when you have the ‘best of it’ will bring you poker profits in the long-term.
